Very interesting, Jono - takes me back to Urchfab's Ford 100E body-over-Mk2 MX-5 project awhile ago

Thank you, Jono.

It is nice to know that Mazda's genius design lives on!

P.S. Kev, it is nothing like the confused stumbling rants of Urchfab.

Thanks Jono.... a nice little 'Q' car developing there....

I'll keep watching that, as Martin alludes to, streets ahead of Urchfabs project in terms of quality and undoubted cost!  :giggle:

The Urchfab 100E is still progressing nicely but he doesn’t have the facilities of Retropower.

Thank you, Jono. I found Urchfab's updates up to episode number 75! I must say he seems to be recovering his enthusiasm... slowly.

I'm sorry, I have a new computer and I don't know how to post clips anymore, I would have posted clip 75.

The colour and the detail is starting to look very good... but not as good as a restored MX-5 Mk 2.

Thank you, Jono.

I am sorry, I thought he rambled in a very Urchfab sort of way until he started talking about the motor... that was all new to me.

The image of the old cylinder head made me think the extra power did not justify the switch to Toyota...   :skip:  but the engineering did!

I seem to have lost the ability to post a screenshot along with the video. This happened a while back but someone was able to offer a solution that worked. Could that kind person assist again? I believe it was an easy fix but I can’t remember what it was.

Hi Jono

If you right click on the actual video

and select copy video url

and paste direct to post

it should appear as a screen shot too

hope this helps

Sorry, Pat, no right click on the iPad. I usually post from the iPad YouTube app and copy the url. Unfortunately it has stopped working and now I don’t get the screenshot. I suspect it was when I had to reset my password, a couple of days ago, as I’d forgotten it. I just use my thumbprint to log on but, due to building work, it wasn’t being recognised. I’ll dig around I’m my settings but I can’t see why anything would change.

Oh Sorry Jono

I didn't realise the iPad was so different  :(
