Bored with work, I took the recently refurbed MINI wheels off, washed, polished, IPA'd and sealed them with three coats of Poorboys Wheel Sealant.

A very satisfying afternoon, apart from the 22 emails and 7 voicemails........

While I was in there I noticed we'll need new pads all round soon. Any suggestions for some with low brake dust ?  I have been disappointed with EBC Greenstuff previously and the current, original pads create plumes of the stuff.

Very nice, Brad

For brake pads, use APEC. I used them on the FIAT 500C and they last twice as long, with half the dust and they are very much cheaper than OEM. Also, if you change the discs as well, they give you a two year warranty. The brake 'feel' is fine too - a good deal all round

Ooooh naughty boy Bradders!

Skipping work eh?.....

I've recently used Pagid (think that's how you spell it?) disc pads (available at Euro car parts) in both the wifes Mazda 2 and the Vitara, reasonably priced and low on dust count, and work as well as OE pads too.

And they have a mid-month sale on.....that's good news to a Yorkies ears!  :giggle:

Just wondering, do you thinks Mrs B will notice if I get some drilled/grooved discs while I am it......and a remap, I reckon not :)

I could probably pop on a larger intercooler and get away with that too :)
