Wow, nice clip, Chris

"If I had a hundred grand in the bank"...

...I wouldn't spend it on a car! Not even that one!

I'd just count it out on the table. Then count it again, with me old fingerless gloves on.

Heh heh heh!!

Have to say Kev, if it wasn't for the old Mg I'd probably never have ended up with the Mx-5's....

I was seriously looking for one when I decided to take my first Mk1....But like you I'd not spend 100k on a car, (unless I became the beneficiary of a Euro millions multiple roll over!!).

Ha! Funnily enough I was looking for a tidy Triumph TR6 in 2009-2010 when I settled for a new NC2.

My dear wife reminded me that lying under an unreliable, rusty '60s roadster every weekend, in the rain and snow, just to keep it moving, was probably not always going to be fun!

Thank you, Chris, that was great.

It is the only modern car that tempts me.

Yeah, I really am becoming an old curmudgeon.

Thank you Kissyfur ... I've bookmarked that for tonight's viewing while Miss is watching that bloody awful jungle nonsense - she watches some rubbish does my missus!  She draws the line at "Strictly Make a Fool of Yourself" though, so she's not completely lost the plot just yet.

@Dewi RS won't catch me watching jungle or a lot of the rubbish that's on TV. Found myself watching this last night https://www.amazon.c...e/dp/B07DVR628T

I think he liked that :giggle:.  I've only just got around to watching it seeing as I'm having a lazy day.  Frontline cars and components are excellent, you can buy most of the stuff they use on the ready built cars for DIY applications. I was looking at it for when I get around to rebuilding the GT suspension and it's a tad pricey but probably worth every penny.  I remember Tiff Needel driving one of the early GTs they built  a few years ago.
