Not sure if you can see this but a badly removed passenger mirror ( long story) has left me with part of the screw which won';t undo....

Any helpful ideas _ I have tried Mole grips to no avail and Snap on crescent pliers but it's really stuck....

Looks like a Mark 1 door, and it is a long time since I owned a Mark 1, but if you remove the door card, can you get access to remove the fitting from behind?

From memory I think you can access the fixing from inside .
