This is my first Mx5 that started my life with these wonderful little cars.
First of all came new wheels, then a visit to Gaydon rally
a roll bar and windblocker were added.
Due to rusting sills, these were replaced and a full respray done.
Is there no end to the money one can spend?

The stereo system was subsequently upgraded to something a bit OTT with a 10" base speaker in the boot, an Alpine head unit and speakers all powered by a 4 x 150watt amp.
Next for the spares bin was the steering wheel, the
air filter was changed for a K&N cone filter clear side repeaters and illuminated side markers front and rear.

Then the worst happened after 6 years of ownership
2 scrotes took a fancy to Bruno and inside 3 days was reduced to a pile of scrap. RIP

This was and still is a most shocking and sad affair. Poor Tim, we really felt a huge amount of empathy for you when this happened.
Bruno was a truly exceptional machine and the first pics certainly tell a story and do him real credit, but the last four photos bring back those awful, stomach-churning moments when we first read about him being stolen and trashed. Heaven knows how it still affects you, Tim. It must be just horrible to look back at the way Bruno was treated by those hateful yobs.
Did anyone ever get caught for this?
