More of a "rate them" thread, than a help one...
Coming up to renewal time for the other car (the Mazda3) and somewhat of a shock from Admiral landeth on me from a great height:

Admiral: £734.32 - so that's a £200 increase from last year!
Apparently "all places have gone up by 30 to 40 per cent this year"

Turns to Footman James (our official OC club sponsored deal):
£697 and that's with a 15% discount!

Waaaaaa....

Well.
Hats off to A-Plan (again), down in their Bletchley office.
They've once again, at least for me and a few others come through with an outstanding quote:
£555.90
I'm sorry, let me think about that, erm yes please?!! Was my answer to that one.

So that's both the Mk3 and the Mazda3 with the same place and once again, I'm more than (no pun intended) happy...see... >>> :):):)

Yep, admiral put mine up too..... Still them were very competitive with the other companys. Eric is with Swiftcover, very cheap, but don't ever try to claim off them!!!!!

Not many companies cope with mods. especially lowering and one guy i know nearly made the mistake of sticking with AXA who i know to refuse lowered cars
I'm now with FJ for the year. If REIS had done courtesy cars then it would've been them

Oddly enough, I checked out REIS for the Mazda3.

Them: "Do you compete in it?"
Me: "Err, no"
Them: "Then we can't cover you I'm afraid, but we can cover the MX-5"

Almost felt like saying, "...well, I'll compete with you if I see you at the lights." lol :D

LOL! interesting
the reason about no courtesy cars with them was that i want one as Storm is my only domestic transport and they cited that they don't do it as, for most owners, they're the second car.
Hmmmm!

Used a plan in the past with other cars and they were very helpful at the moment back with direct line crap but with multi car discount it's cheap.
