Ok so I have just changed my air filter and replaced the original with a piper cross but no idea which way round it should go ??? Foam pointing into box or other way round ???
Assuming yours looks like this one (on an Audi, I think) the mesh will go towards the engine side in case the foam were to break up. You wouldn't want chunks of that sucked into the engine!
