Hi I have an MX5 Mark 4 2017 registration bought new from a Mazda supplier. It spends a lot of time in my garage and so I decided to attach a Battery Maintainer, to keep the battery topped up.

Out of the factory, what type of battery would the care come with?

The choices on the NOCO genius 2 maintainer are:
12 v wet cell, gel cell, enhanced flooded, maintenance free and calcium batteries
12 v AGM
12 v Lithium

I doubt its a lithium battery but there's not a lot to identify on the top of the battery other than 46B24L(6)-MF

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, thanks for the link. I did try that site as well, and their good for replacement batteries, but I was looking for the type that comes with the car out of the factory.
But thanks for the answer.
I'll take the battery out and see what's written on the side, should be something there that will identify the type...thanks again.
