I wish I liked Porsches more because that is a great sports car, no question.

But...well, I just don't 🙄

Sorry you don't Kev, but I've always had a (911) Porsche bias (with the highlight of driving a 997 convertible at Elvington)....
Guess I am to the 911 what you are to the 2CV!..... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Thanks for that Jono...

Who doesn't love an old 'granny!'.... :ROFLMAO:

I loved my MK3 2.9i Ghia 4x4, and is honestly the only old Ford I'd love to have back....😭

Thank you, Jono.
I have never owned a Ford. We have tried but I'm afraid the dealers were... very stingy with the truth and much more interested in a sale now than customers who returned. Mazda won out with a far better dealer network... which has since been disassembled. 😞
It was more interesting than most clips because the car was not something unaffordable but was still rare and interesting.
I find not having a garage saves me from being tempted by such bargains.

Thank you for posting that for our perusal, Jono.

I have had, and am still having, many nightmares over the past couple of years, due entirely to personal circumstances.

But...if ever that, err, vehicle suddenly turned up on my drive one morning, with an invoice for £35,000, I would be straight on the phone to The Samaritans!!

Maybe as a military vehicle it would be useful...as an 81mm mortar practice target. Great fun...BOOM!!

I'm sorry if I have offended any of our friends here who may actually like this, err, vehicle.

What would our members buy then, if they had £35,000 to spend on a motor?

Would it be the MWM SPARTAN EV as described above?

Or, a 'nut and bolt' restored 2C EV? (Chris?😉)

A VW Golf GTI Type R?

An ND2 MX5 RF?

A cuddly toy?

🤔

'Quote of the week' there from Kev.....I'll be laughing about that for weeks!.....(I don't need to watch the video after this!!) :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

As for a 2CV....Jeez what a waste of an electric motor and batteries! :p

A somewhat depressing, yet incredibly exciting video!

Yes I agree Kev, poor little Rs....😢
I've seen worse vehicles saved, so I live in hope for some of them!

Thank you, Jono...

I always look forward to Jonny Smith's reviews, although I much prefer the appearance of the original, V-twin, outboard motored Moggie.

A very entertaining clip from our Jonny -- also starring retired 'Superbike' champion Shakey Byrne 😃

Great stuff, thank you, Jono (y)

That's a good video Jono....Remember the 'Atoms' flying about when I did my supercar day at Elvington...They were just like angry gnats buzzing backwards and forwards but looked great fun!
The Ariel bike looks like a work of art, and very powerful, but think 'Shakey' could get the best out of it!
Was hoping for a bit of a 'drag race' sadly it wasn't to be!
