After Flood posted the Escort vid I subscribed to Jonny Smith's YouTube channel. I thought it worth creating this thread for CARPERVERT videos and will start with a reminder of the Escort one.

From 10 month back here's a review of...mowers

OooH! I hope Steveh sees this, he loves lawn mowers
He should know that a twin blade rotary is usually for mulching, the clippings have a shorter length so can be left on the lawn, it returns nutrition to the lawn. The Hayter - I had one and my mother had two, we both found them unreliable , I don't think the Briggs and Stratton engine helped. Can't beat a Honda Mower , Mazda should take a lesson from them as my 14 year old Honda mower chassis shows no signs of rust.

You should make your way over to our neck of the woods Steve and visit this place: http://www.lawnmowerworld.co.uk/index.php It's only up the road in Southport, just a stonesthrow away from the Mazda maindealers :coffee:

Brilliant place it is too, run by a member of NWOC. He was on tv years back, can't remember the programme, he could recognise the make and model of a lawnmower just by looking at the cut of the grass. Amazing really.

I'm actually stunned at the ineptitude shown here (for effect?) It was obvious from the get go the battery was screwed under load, should have been popped ot and load tested, easy enough to get an old battery to read 13v+ but it's load that tells.

Surely Jonny should now this with his own leccy sh!t mobile - respect to what it can di in terms of 1/4 mile times but leccy will always be leccy as proven here.

This has only just gone up so I'd give it a few minutes for the HD version to render.

And there we have it. Fog lights? Nah, when visibility is below 100 mtrs ONLY otherwise you dazzle the other poor sods on he road.

I really like Jonny (Johnny) as a motojourno his basic knowledge is below cr*p. The mist that they experienced at take off point was never less that 100 mtrs thus he became a dazzling hazard with fogs on.

Must be hell to avoid potholes in a trike as well, only a critisism of our poorly maintained roads and the substandard 'repairs' carried out by guys that in the main appear not to be arsed or take any pride in their work, all most likely from the budget holders, constrained by bean counters.

All that said, apparently by all official accounts Theresa May had a wonderful April.

Erm, Windrush, Amber Rudd?
