Chrome grille surround without the need to remortgage..

Any thoughts here as £270 for a chrome line around the black grille is daylight robbery. And no I don't want a fully chromed or stainless steel grille just a chrome line around the black mesh.

Help required NCers!

Is it actually a strip added on or the edge painted up chrome? Hard to tell from the pics on mx5parts... either way it's not worth over £100 so maybe DIY me is the way to go...

Just nipped onto miata net (sorry) and quite a few tape success stories on there so worth a punt to this thrifty/tight Scot! Cheers all above.
