Where is your favourite place to drive? Share with us all.....

For me I just love a little tiny stretch at a tiny little village called Dunley. I drops to a 30 mph limit, then to NSL round a sharp left hander, round a few pg turns, then when you are going full whack it hits you with a wonderful S bend with plenty of camber! Lovely swing, and you are off and into some gorgeous Worcestershire scenery. A lovely stretch that I try and do on most occasions when out in my car.

To add a more exotic touch, my favourite road is in Victoria, Australia, out beyond Warrandyte on the way to Watson's Creek. It is a wonderful winding sports car road with low traffic use and good visibility. The speed limit is 80 kilometres so nobody gets hurt... but staying at that speed is very entertaining.

Last week i kept banging on about a road bet. Blandford Forum and Shaftesbury
I thought that was the road we would be returning north on.
We happened upon some other lovely west country roads but not that one.
Someone on the OC described it as the twistiest in Britain (i beg to differ but still don't know lol)
Anyway.... looks like i better write up some contenders
You can't really go far wrong in mid Wales
most roads are great and, thankfully, having less traffic means you can drive in the spirited fashion so required for these wee gems.
the one mentioned by Ali and that Stu has agreed about i can also agree with having done it a few times now.
I still don't drive it in the same way as Ali but when i am better used to it LOOK OUT!

In hushed tones i am just going to say 'newbridge.... beulah'......

The Beulah >>>> Newbridge on Wye road B4358 (better in that direction but still good the other way)

Favourite little stretch of road locally is the minor road from Eastington to Nympsfield just S of Jct13M5. More fun to drive going up but lovely views coming down! Mark will prob. know it
