Last year, we took the 5 over to the Lake District/North Yorkshire for our summer holidays. The weather was glorious and we had a terrific time in such a beautiful part of the UK.

This year, we're going to Normandy, France. Although I've been over to this area on my bike a few times and enjoyed the invasion beaches, this is the first time I've actually driven in France. We're looking forward to the food, hopefully lots of top down driving etc.

Anyone else planning a trip abroad ?

Just over a year ago i took a short break up in The Highlands
In between all the snow
I picked the few days when it stopped snowing and raining and the sun came out.

Scotland is a fantastic place to visit, almost like a mini Alps in places. Again, I've always 'done Scotland' on the bike with mates and it is on our 'to do' list in the MX5.
