Hi there. Why not pop onto the introductions page and say hello properly. You will stand a better chance of getting a sensible answer if the NC owners know who they are talking to.

Yes, can't recall make but only required an additional earth connection.

Yes, did one that didn't need air compressors, all it needed was a live feed near the switch on the dash, and a wire to the unit to switch the earth to...... was an old fashioned klaxon....

They can be got off Ebay or Amazon ,I would use Amazon myself !
