Ha!....Reminded me of my 'caravan trips!' when the kids were younger!

Oddly, I quite liked towing the 'van'.

His car ought to be fine towing, but it's an old van (heavy) so will try 'bully' the car especially when it's packed with kit.....I had that when towing with my old 2.0 Granada.

Ended up with the Ghia 2.9 4X4 that was really the 'Mutts'......And would 'romp-up' windy hill fully kitted at 90 mph plus!..... :frantic:

Great times!.... :smug:

I really that, if a nice one came up for sale I'd certainly consider buying it! Not exactly thick on the ground though eh?
Youre right D!....I'd have one too (but the 4wd one)....

Only found this one!...

This is the same car in which Robert Llewelyn was a passenger a few episodes back of Fully Charged.

Hmmm.......As if the Bettle isn't hideous enough. :frantic:

Then they stick a lekky motor in it......Jeeez. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Have to agree with HubNut....

Has got to be the worst gearchange ever on any vehicle let alone a van!!

Sadly I've driven a few in my time!...

Surprised Jono hasn't posted this but he's been busy with all the debate about 'lekky' cars I see.....

Fast forward to 10.26 for some real motors.......

A £50 Proton that he thinks is worth spending time and money on. I don't understand it.
I do......

You could be the proud owner of a Proton Jono & have money left over from your 'brake pad' job.....

A couple even have comments from some chap called Garffey.
Lol....Jono, I must admit I love his 'capers' he reminds me very much of my step-father (not in looks) who loved nothing better than spending a day 'tinkering' with some vehicle he'd acquired from a local scrappers (usually under £100) and seeing if he could sort it's issues and make a decent runner out of it, I'm talking early 70's here....all in the name of pleasure, and it kept him out of the pub!! :giggle:
