Having already an mx5 spotted thread i thought it'd be fun to just keep an eye out for other cars of interest.
Like the Zonda you see regularly parked outside the chippy every friday night ;)

Like, last summer a bundle of us were in south Wales. I was separated from the gang for a time but came across this piece of zoomy droppage

wi teeny weeny back window
well, am sure hood will be down most of the time so it won't matter :p

this piece of very drop-top which hangs around with a similar but in wow green

motorway services last June off the M42... or 40....

a bit more local to home

[the old and the new]

a bit of a cheat since this is my step-pa's but he's given it on long term loan to his son..... cos he loves his Eunos :D

and that which finally prompted me to create this thread..... making it a TVR hat-trick

TESCO car park, Newtown - yesterday :)
Confession ~ i love the two classic TVRs but the Cerbera does very little for me.
If the driver had fired her up.... i may've changed my mind :D

That's wonderful, Nick. A Sentinel Steam Lorry if I'm not mistaken, with underslung engine, chain drive and front mounted boiler.

I remember very well the lovely smell of hops around Hertford from the McMullen's Brewery when I was young :)

Also at Buntingford today - Triumph Roadster 2000 c.1948. Owned and driven by Richard Saunders and not Bergerac on this occasion:

Nissan Fairlady 2+2, 2 litre six cylinder. A very rare JDM car, a personal import from Tokyo:

Perhaps I have missed the boat to buy another one of these... I am afraid I must say, I remember it is a bit like throwing a truck around!

It appears huge against my Triumph GT6 yet both cars have two litre six cylinder engines. This Fairlady was apparently the car the wife took her kids to school in while her diplomatic service husband was assigned to Tokyo. At the end of his assignment the car was brought to the UK probably at Foreign Office expense.

And me Nick, IMHO far nicer than the 120 .... and the E.type There's a fella turns up to the monthly meets at the Cornerstone up here with one, which is an absolute stunner. I think I may have posted pics of it before. Not been to the Cornerhouse this year but I'm going to the last one in Oct hopefully - so I'm going to try and park the Frog next to it to show it up. :giggle:

I must say the XK140 S is the Jaguar I have quietly lusted after too.

Since my knowledge of how big the bills can be on a classic Jaguar, however, the desires have waned. :(

I have chatted to Richard Saunders and have photographed his Triumph Roadster 2000 at many car shows locally. It was only recently that I discovered our

mutual love of cats which Richard expresses in his surreal pictures "The Topiary Cat":

White Audi R8 on the A19 (near Barrowby).

Parked at the side of the road bonnet up & Hazard lights on, and not getting much sympathy.... ;)

This is definitely not today! It is a shot from a 1980s gymkana at Kalorama (up in the hills).

The Bentley is a six-cylinder 8 litre and is the kind of car that commands a million pound price tag these days... I wonder if any go in motor gymkanas any more.
