Excellent! This chap is far more watchable than that awful 'Car Throttle' individual (wouldn't you like to 'throttle' him?!!) and the second video contained a fascinating insight into the Jaguar engine and it's heritage.

I think it would be wise to read this:

https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/classic-cars/a24226421/acura-integra-v8-for-sale/

It was on the Road & Track website and I thought it was helpful.

Just saying...
Ha! that's just plainly ridiculous isn't it?

As an exercise in extreme conversions it may appeal to some, but putting an over-blown, eight litre truck engine into a delicate, well balanced sports car will hardly improve it's dynamics! In fact it is probably 'unsafe at any speed' (apologies to Ralph Nader.)

I would also be surprised if there was sufficient air remaining in the cabin for anyone to breath!!

Hmmm....Knowing how notorious the Jag sump gasket is for leaking,(very common) I'd at least have been tempted into putting some sealer or a new gasket on there!....
Absolutely! I would also have whipped off a bearing cap or three, to check the condition of the crank journals and shells.

Music is beginning to annoy!
Interesting you say that - I had a comment on that video on YouTube from someone who reckons the music is "killing the videos".

Seems like it's hard to gauge the right amount of music - B is for Build use lots of music, and Urchfab uses minimal music and lots of silence (during the timelapses).

Is it the amount of music, or the style of music that is putting you off?
For me I'm not too bothered about the music....just the volume!....it often ends up louder than any commentary!

I find myself adjusting it up and down a lot!

I like to know more about the parts that are added or removed and the work required during a build....

Good luck with the project....It's one I'd love to do.
I agree about the volume!

Thank you, Dave, that was a first class video - great content, useful narrative and peaceful backing music.

Looking forward to the next one

Splendid! An excellent project and as Garffey said, the engine looks natural in there. I too look forward to your first drive, David :)

Many thanks for another charming video, Dave.

Just one thing though - and please forgive me if I sound like an old fart - the background 'music' is a trifle harsh and a bit sudden, if I'm honest. I had to keep hitting the mute button every time that awful noise invaded my ears, causing me to miss some of the otherwise great video clip.

Your little lad is a charmer though and takes me back a few years to when my kids were that age 🙂

[EDIT: The short clip to which I was referring (sump removal and oil pick-up pipe replacement) has disappeared!!]

What colour should I paint my classic JDM wheels?

Hi Dave...my opinion?

Gold for the Honda Beat wheels.
Red for the Jazz rear spoiler.
😊
