Warning: this video is all timelapses and getting sh1t done. I don't do any talking to the camera, so chill out and enjoy the music!

Thanks Dave....

That flywheel looks quite something!.....Any plans to paint the rocker covers on the Jag engine?

I would!....
No plans to paint them for the moment, just want to get it up and running first. A lot of the rocker covers are covered up by the inlet manifolds anyway.

Rocketeer V6 build nearly ready to go back in! Contains a riveting section about steering rack boots - unmissable :)

Thank you, Dave.

I am so glad you are doing all the hard work... but I love watching machines being assembled.
The V6 is now in! Bolting up the Rocketeer subframe and anti roll bar. Guest appearance from Bubbles.

Thank you, Dave.

That is a somewhat 'jittery' experience but the fixed camera work toward the end makes up for it! Great work.
Good stuff Dave....(I'll just take a minute for the 'dizzy-ness' to wear off!)

The V6 looks right 'at home' sat in there it has to be said!....

The Rocketeer kit comes with a dual exhaust, so you need to cut a second hole in the rear bumper. As I have a UK bumper with fog light at not-quite centre, it looked weird, so I removed the rear fog light and did a bumper cut from one exhaust hole across to the other.

Thank you, Dave. that was a mesmerising clip.

I look forward to seeing the cut bumper in place.
Out with the rusty rear subframe & wishbones and in with the new shiny ones! Extensive how-to if you need to remove and reinstall your rear subframe.

Excellent clips, Dave - many thanks - I am looking forward to more :)
Thanks again Dave, very satisfying for you swapping out the 'crusty' parts for some nice shiny ones!

It'll be a very different beast to the Prius!.... ;)

I'm enjoying the videos.....

Getting it fired up and your first drive!....
I paint the Jaguar V6 valve covers in an Alfa Romeo colour (for added reliability) and install a new aluminium radiator and slimline fan. V6 MX5 Rocketeer kit.

Almost there, Dave. :)
Thank you, Jazda. It was a very good video, as usual.

I really liked this: "I chose an Alfa Romeo colour, for extra reliability." :giggle:
