Visiting Ireland

447 Views 5 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  Pat
We're thinking of doing a round Ireland (N & S) trip with a couple of cars when circumstances allow which might be at some point in 2023.

MX-5 Ireland forum doesn't seem to have managed to keep up momentum with no new posts for quite some time. I'm reluctant to venture into Facebook groups as that's just a way to totally lose context and generally attract all sorts of nonsense..

I'm thinking we would possibly cross Holyhead to Dublin out and Larne to Cairnryan return.

Does anyone have any good links/resources/advice from previous experience?

TIA

If you do come to Ireland, you just have to do at least part of the 'Wild Atlantic Way' which runs from the north, to Kinsale in the south. You'll find some of the most fun driving roads in Europe, including my personal favorite the Healy Pass (Healy Pass is one of Ireland's best drives)

Thanks for the tip, added to the potential itinerary.
