Fish & Chip Run to Bournmouth at end of the month, Dave.
OC organised but i believe they're letting in the Nutzers and Planeteers as well. Funny how no one has asked .COM (the official Mazda site)

Jo, i said any 'reasonable' offer'considered, i've just punched Bournmouth in my SatNav and it's 258 miles and 4hr 15min in a direct route, never mind the meander run that will have been organised, so a minimum 516mile run on a sunday jaunt is a little far don't you think?

As the 'wedding' is an unofficial bank holiday it is very unlikley i'll be getting the day off, as we are contracted to the biggest transport firm in the country it will possibly be all hands to the pumps, having said that it's not written in stone yet.

It may well be for the public sector, but the contractor that we cowtow to says "my truck has broken down" and on one site he can literally loose quarter of a million pounds an hour, which gives us a 4hr window to respond and fix or replace the truck, so it will be a case of who draws the short straw on the day. Knowing my luck i'll be stuck under a 16tonner with oil dripping down my back while everybody else is out topless driving.

Could be anywhere from Rosyth Glasgow Cardiff Leicester Plymouth Portsmouth Dover just to name a few, but not if i can avoid it on the day.

Yup! fab roads. Loved the road up to Mallaig... and the old road between there(Morar) and Arisaig. And running back from Skye via the bridge - Lochalsh - A87 - Invergarry with the must-do viewpoint overlooking the Loch.
The Glen Nevis run up and back is fun. You just gotta hope there aren't too many around as you take those tumps

Just got a letter from the boss saying bank holidays will be standard work days from now on - no day in lieu or extra pay - Billy and Kate's wedding included. Anyhoo, not fussed - didn't get an invite anyway. Please don't mention the West coast of Scotland - had a very long but nice trip there last week courtesy of SatNav - supposed to be in the Lakes. Bowness in Windermere and Bowness on Solway look the same to some SatNavs apparently? Looked suspicious to me - guess who was right!!
