good all-round grip 'cept in snow.
Have a set of steelies for winter use so decisions to be made re winter tyres during the summer

I'd say for a mk 2.5 15'' wheels with yoko or toyo's on them.
. Just remember the 45et off set. and a max of 7'' wide.Yea u need all the help you get get being a 1.6 .:roflmao:. They also do team dynamics.

Stu - I agree with Jumpman - I don't think gold would be the best colour choice for your new wheels.
I would also go for 15" wheels too as the tyres are cheaper than 16s and I think the MX5 drives better on 15s compared to 16s.
If you go for 16s then I quite like the 5 spokes that came as standard on the Mark 2.5 Sport and you may be able to pick up some on EBay although these were prone to corrosion so you may need to budget for a refurb.

Rota very nice pics neededVery soon I`ll have a set of 15" Rota RB`s fitted to my 5. Once Iv`e sussed out how to load pics on the Forum I`ll put them on. Polished rims with gunmetal `mini lite` style spokes
