PS: What is the gear lever connected to? Is it a gear/clutch actuator? Or a throttle interconnection? 🤔

I'd think it's a quick shifter of some description Kev (never used or seen one myself) although he seems to change down himself, the upshift don't use the clutch (I don't often use the clutch on my bikes) as it's easy to match the revs for a smooth change.
And I'd think he's enough to think about at 180 +mph! 🤬....or it's easier to use a button when hanging on for grim death!

Yes Kev not abnormal is flames shooting from the exhausts!....

And is quite normal unlike the 'numpties' round our way with the 'popping/banging' exhausts...If it needed it all the racers would be doing it! 😁
